Make your expertise easier to discover.

A practical starting point for clearer, more useful content in a changing search landscape.

The most useful content starts with a question a customer would actually ask. A clear, specific answer can help people whether they arrive from search, a community discussion, or a recommendation.

Start with a real question

Write down a question your customers ask during a conversation. Use that question as the starting point for an article rather than beginning with a broad keyword.

Choose one question your team can answer from direct experience. A focused page makes the reader’s next step easier to see than an article that tries to address several different needs at once.

Make the answer easy to find

Put a direct answer near the beginning, then explain the reasoning. Add descriptive headings so a reader can jump to the part that matters to them.

State the conditions and exceptions. If your advice depends on team size, budget, or existing tools, say so. A short example can show how the advice works in practice.

Show your working

Use examples you can explain, link to original sources where appropriate, and distinguish observation from opinion. Review dated material regularly.

Before publishing, check claims, links, and screenshots. Assign someone to revisit the page when your product or the subject changes. An outdated answer can make discovery less useful even if it still attracts traffic.
